Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

whew, thanks. if "FAQ" isn't thrown out at the beginning of a thread, then i always forget to give that as a reply. i was about to go on and on about tt conversions and such, then i would usually get tired and say use the search button. but i guess i just forget about the FAQ sometimes. probably b/c its so friggin awesome and no one else has one quite like our's .

Re: Power/Economy Switch

umm...you've got a new switch. just replace it. it really shouldn't be that hard. just get a flat head screwdriver and pry around the edges of the plastic pieces. be careful not to break anything. i don't know what else to tell you.

Re: Power/Economy Switch

thats been the issue... but i just can't seem to get the middle console out... basically, what i really need is to get the whole shift column out of it (it's an AT) so if there is anyone who's actually pulled that out, I'd like to know how they did it...

Re: Power/Economy Switch

these pictures should reveal more than you need to know. honestly, it appears that you can just pop the switch out w/o removing the entire console. but its up to you. seriously, if you still can't figure out how to remove the console, ask a friend to help.
