Re: 5600rpm sputter
Getting multiple DTCs doesn't help but there are a few things you can do DIY. The problem is DTCs do not tell you what the real problem is and it must be troubleshot using a logical course of action and process of illimination.
Start with the P0172 DTC. Make sure the air filter is clean, check for intake obstructions, clean the MAF sensor element with electrical or MAF spray cleaner, clean the throttle body bore with carb or throttle body spray cleaner to include screen, clean the IAC spring loaded pintle and the valve seat at the throttle body. Remove and inspect the PCV valve located at the back left hand side of the supercharger. Check all vacuum lines at the supercharger - manifold area to include throttle body, MAP sensor and fuel pressure regulator. Remove the front 02 sensor, inspect and clean with TB cleaner. For the 13XX DTCs, check the wiring harness and connectors from the ICM module to the PCM module. Get the ICM module tested and inspect the ICM wiring harness/connector. Also, check the harness and connectors to the crank position sensor and camshaft position sensor since they are all part of the same wiring harness. After doing the above reset the PCM and clear the DTCs. See if they return and then go from there.
