well guys i pulled the trans last night and the pressure plate has been grinding on the trans. but that flywheel sure seems to be quite a ways from the rear of motor. also i replkaced the rear crank seal and i never seen a spacer.

hey guys, thanks for the help. it was just like davidlang said there was a spacer between the crank and the flywheel. pulled it out and now geo works great. thanks again

i checked my codes and it says my problem is the iat. what is a iat and where do i find it

IAT is intake air temperature.
It is the sensor in the air filter.
Check the connection and the sensor.

Slockrod u were right about the iat i had lost the wire clip that holds the plug in. thanks now i have one more problem, when i swapped engines i couldnt find the wire to one of the sensors that is located at the front of the motor under the throttle body. anyone know what this sensor is thanks
