Firstly...
The PING TiSI is a titanium golf driver and yes it is a 'very good' one.
My membership is coming up again soon and I want to get back on the course more regularly this year to reduce my stroke index (ie what used to be called handicap). And after sending golf balls into semi-orbit last night on trial I am keen.

Secondly...
I don't have a PS2 nor the X-Box but I have played both consoles. I had to give the X-Box back this week.

Thirdly...
I have the company digi-cam (which I don't really like using as I am a chemical film luddite) and will shoot some shots tonight for Heep.

Fourthly...
As for spending $350 on the car - I'm spending much more than that paying it off at present and it's only done 10,000kms so I want to run it in. I've also decided that I don't really need HP as it is a good touring car at present. If I want to get the adrenaline I'll get a ride in the race-car which the owner (ie NOT me) is working feverishly @ going faster so we can get to race at the Boost Mobile in a supporting class.

Whew - now I need to get back to the day job.

I was thinking more along the lines of a nice stereo head unit...

Meh- You sound just like Jimmy (aka Jimmy_11_cars)

can't wait for the pics either- I'm a bigger Mondeo fan than Heep :finger:

As for the oney- I think a PS2 and GT3 or GTA 3 (If you like a bit of UnPCness- Or FFX if RPG's are your thing)

XBox, however isn't going to work, as long as PS2 has it's home market of Japan covered- it will be here to stay

j/p

jimmy who?

You might have to wait another day... Maria left me the digicam with it turned on and the lcd panel active so it's now got no juice.

Bloody digital cameras - give me an SLR with some ASA100 film and a tripod.

I'll charge the lil Sony up and make sure I get myself organised tomorrow... I could do with a ladder though hmmmm....

Might scout some locations later...

I love my Cannon A40! Ok, its not quite as good as an SLR, but if you know how to use it will do as many things as a low end SLR will, and once you get the images into Photoshop you can do so much more!!! :frog:

But the PS2 is still by far the better consol than XBOX. Which has an online gaming ablity comparable to the PS2. i.e. the software and modem required to use it have yet to be released. :finger:

Quite simply Sony allow anyone to build games for the PS2, and activly help any company that wants to. In fact they encourage game developers to write games for the Play Station.
MicroSoft on the other hand are keeping everything totaly in house. And although it has slightly better graphics than the PS2 the game selection will always be VERY limited, and will all draw heavily on having good graphics at the expense of good game play.
The PS2 however will always be open to developers with some imagination and an ablity to create some truely orginal games. Games which have a huge focus on Game play, and so a playable life and enjoyment factor far above any of the crap made for the Xbox.

Oh wait......what's that I hear????

SONY sucks cause it doesn't have an online console gaming system setup!!!!!

I love how when a commerical for a game comes out and it always ends with the big PS2 screen flashing up. Yet the whole commerical was using the visually superior XBOX's version of the game!

XBOX rules the world. it is getting GT3, Metal Gear Solid 2, and already has 007
Wow! America is a lot different then because nothing compares to PS2 here. Besides, PS2 does have a online comsole gaming system so :finger:

Decided to buy the driver as it will make me go and actually play (sunshine and exercise) during summer just as soon as I finish skiing on weekends (or more correctly think about skiing while working in weekends).

I think I'll wait a while on the X-Box vs PS2 and see how things pan out. thanks for the feedback and discussion...

No :monkeypis playstation does not have any such thing as an online gaming experience.

XBOX LIVE is coming out in a couple of months. Just in time for Christmas. It's already being beta tested by players.

So take that to the bank!

I prefer the PS2 mostly because of the controllers. I've gotten used to the feel of it and the XBox one just doesn't "feel" right. I like the games for the XBox quite a bit and its a sharp as hell console, but that bulky controller is whats stopping me from getting one.

For those of you with small hands(snicker) XBOX makes a smaller controller. It's the controller S, one similar to the one sent to Japan for all of the japanese lacking in that certain area(LOL).

Also, if you still have a hard on for the PS controller, there is an adapter that lets you use it on the XBOX.
