oh and btw do not use megasquirt, it is a cheap solution, dont half ass a project like this, use somethign like a haltech or at least an emanage. ive used megasquirt before and it just dosent cut it IMO...and i have run it on a 4afe, bot hthe 4sfe and 5sfe run super rich, could probaly pull 10 hp out of em cleaning up the fuel maps and rasing the revv limiter a little

and btw it would be far from the best toyota 4 cyl in the world, the best 4 cyl toyota has is the 2zzge, flows the best, and is capable of the most HP out of any of our engines. it is superior than the 3sgte in every way minus the displacment

im suprised you think the 2zz is better than the 3sgte, i think the 3sge is better than the 2zz much less the 3sgte.

I don't know about the 2ZZ being the best. Maybe it is, but before the 2GR came out everyone in the GT300 class used turbo charged 3SGE beams motors. I didn't see one team touch the 2ZZ. Maybe sponsor reason? I don't know but I do know they decided not to use the 2ZZ. Not even the MR-S GT300...

yeah honestly I've heard very few bad reviews about the megasquirt. Yeah it doesn't look pretty but who cares what it looks like, also I'm not quite an engine expert yet even though a simple rebuild isn't all that hard. The whole point of this project is because I believe very strongly in the 5s block, and would like to see a kit made for it. One thing I do know though is electronics, and you basically have a microprocessor controlling that engine, really the design of that board in the megasquirt is pretty simple, the problems people are having aren't in the ecu as much as they are in the programming and the tuning. anyways heres the build so far

is that an xs power turbo manifold? if so watch out, it could break at anytime.

yeah it is. Yeah I'm kind of bettin its not gonna hold up, its ok if it doesn't I've got the stock one here I got for like $20 so if it does break I'll just swap em out, but hey if it holds up then great.

if you have a brace for that DP it might live but taht manfiold is SHIT
