Re: changing door hinges..

I know, but my point was that lambo hinges are HARD AS HELL to install and 2 of my buddies did it with only a small amount of experience. So if they can do that you and a friend or 2 could definitly tighten your hinges or replace them, I'm telling you don't waste the money going to a shop or the DEALER?! Big no-no You can do this yourself and save alot of loot.

Re: changing door hinges..

ok well I did kinda tighten them.. drivers side where loose.. but, the play is still there... its really the hinge.. the two pins look loose, the bottom ones..its really funny to believe cuz the rest of the car is just like new... It looks like it never went out.. What could of cuased the hinges to wear out like that ??.. like I said also they were never greased..

lol Exactly, I have NO idea what could've caused this. The only thing I can think of is maybe a kid/s were hanging on them? I don't think you should ever have to grease up your hinges unless they start to squeak or maybe noises tho.

Re: changing door hinges..

i was told that because the doors are long and, its true that the doors are like never ending..lol and, when i got the car back in Aug, yes the doors were squeaking a little... so i cleared that up by lubricating the hinges..but , the play is there....

Re: changing door hinges..

To replace the door hinges you are going to need to remove the doors, hood, fenders and side skirts if applicable.

Then its simply plug and play. Hardest part is realigning and its not really that hard, if you even have to do it with stock hinges.
