Awesome model. Is Mr. Color the lacquer-based Gunze Sangyo paint? I wish they sold that where I lived, as the shine is really good from looking at your model

what's your polishing technique? looks good!! Mr. Color rawks! i wish i lived in TO so i could get it locally... so i'm not left to ordering blindly from rainbow ten. |

Yup, Mr Color is the lacquer-based Gunze Sangyo. And they are only 3.50 CDN a bottle from where I live (Just a tap more than Tamiya paint).
The paint is tough when dry and perfect for handbrushing as well. My polishing process is... 1. Meguiar's Fine-Cut Cleaner - to smooth out the paint and roughness 2. Mequiar's Hand polish - to polish up the surface 3. 3M Imperial Hand Glaze - to fill the scratchs and give it a nice shine 4. Pinnacle Souveran Wax - to protect the surface and magnifies the shine. Those are the car care stuff I bought long time ago for my car. ANd they seem to last forever so I guess I might as well use them for models.
