I just dont think this thread should turn into a "rice" neon flaming thread when the guy just asked a simple question about laws regarding a mod he wants to do to his car. If he asked, "What do you all think about neons", then fine. But he didnt.

Neons dont belong on f-bodys. Plain and simple

Of course appearance matters. What i meant to say is f-bodys already look great. Why not spend the money to make it faster? I was just explaining the whole "18 in high school with minimum wage job with car payments" cant afford mod bs. Im in the same situation except i just got out of highschool and i can do mods just fine..I jsut did an SLP CAI and whisper lid

Im keeping it clean...just saying is all. The guy wanted to know about Florida law and got bashed and called a ricer for it. I dont care one way or the other. Im a stock Nazi when it comes to my car anyway for the most part as I like to restore older fbodys. Anyway, Ive got nothing against anyone on here and I wasnt trying to start anything...just stating my opinion on the matter. Sorry for any misunderstanding or misinterpretation.

If you like how your car looks, thats really what matters. Dont be driven by what other people think of somthing. All of my cars look like total scraps, and if I cared what people thought about them I would probably send them all to the junkyard. I wish they ran good enough to spend money on appearance mods cause they need it pretty bad. They might be ugly, but at least they run horrible.

This is so true. If you wanna spend money to make your car look nicer then do normal stuff.

A ws6 hood, some rims, window tint and stuff like that. Sure its not as cheap as neons but it makes the car look so much nicer. IMO neons just SCREAM rice regardless of what car its on but thats just my

i do agree that neon and muscle just dont go toghether period but in that same breath it is your car and if you want to paint it pink it is up to you. speaking of reflective decals i was planning on getting some after i get my baby painted, the ones i saw were from autografics.com, does anybody know anything about this business.

if i had to put lights on my car i would probably go with red in the ram air induction on my ws6 hood. that is only if i had to so don't worry, less is more. i agree though neon and muscle go together like lamb and tuna fish.

I want to use some double-sided tape and adhere one of those little plastic disco balls in front of my overhead light. That way, when a car with those neons lines up next to me, i can flick it on so they can see it. When I pass them they will be able to see it spinning through my back glass as I drive away. Maybe if they take a look and see how stupid it is, they will know exactly how i feel when i look at their car.
