Wow, you must be really desperate for a skyline if you're willing to go that far!

You guys know right, that the Skyline GT-R and Silvia S15 are only legendary cars in your minds because you don't have them? I think it's one of those want it because you can't have it types of things.

Although the GT-R is a great car, it's not God. The JZA80 Supra, Z32 300ZX , FD RX-7 are all in the same class and from my knowledge, all much more easily available.

For he who is about to purchase a skyline gt-r, the skyline is thier god. Now, either your down right "crazy", and love the thrill, or you truly love the car. The hard part of that situation is finding out wich one u are... shoot to thrill, or love me long time.

I think the thing is if you could get one in the states and legalize it easily, you have a reliable and tunable car that is fast stock for under 10k, and you get something quite rare stateside.

Anyways, if anyone still feels like it in 8 years, they can do it (relatively) easily at that time.

You could do it, but the time and money it would cost you just wouldn't be worth it. On a side note, it is illeagal to import an R34 and it would be impounded at U.S. Customs. However, you can still import an R33 and R32.

Yeah, you can still import them considering you make them adhear to U.S. laws and emissions.

No no no no no. You cannot legally import an R32. Only R33s manufactured between January 1, 1996 and June 30, 1998 are legal for importation.

And even then, it has to be done by a registered importer and they have to bring the entire vehicle up to code, that includes putting OBDII into the car and no RI is doing that.

As of this moment, you cannot get a new skyline legally into the states. Period.
