The stock car is worth about $6.5K I'd offer like 11K IMO, because if you want to get a respray that will cost a few grand easy for a quality job.

It does need an A/C compressor. I can get one and I can also install it with no problem. Its just a daily driver. Im not goin to do anything crazy. It will be repainted though.

Damn I dont know what the hell is wrong with me on my first post. I should've been more specific to say the least. It has Tein springs with Tockico shocks.

apparently where your from si's don't mean much. out here you could get 14k on a stock one if the miles aren't to high.
how's the title? clean?
i would pay 10k if it's not a real si, and 13k if it is a real si, and the title is clean.
I was going by what Edmunds.com said based on some guesses on my part. What they actually go for in the real world doesn't factor into the cost from them. Seeing the car in person and getting complete info would lead to a more accurate price. But the need of A/C repairs, the appearent need for a paint respray, and some minor body work def lower the value IMO.

But hey, Mellow has all the info he needs to make a decision. If the price is right I'd go for it too.

Nothing major really. He offered the paint job professionally and the rest is no problem.

Re: Opinion needed. 2000 civic SI with Integra Type R motor.

IMO, I don't think it's worth 14k, even with the type-r motor and tein suspension. I'd say 10k tops. When you modify a car, it better look perfect to actually up the price to sell it for more than blue book value is stock. I'm sorry but I don't think you're getting a deal at all. I know the price of a tein suspension and a type-r motor, but they seem like a dime a dozen these days. If you're going to spend that much money the car should have working A/C and body matched paint on the whole thing. Remember this is my .02 and it's your money.

Re: Opinion needed. 2000 civic SI with Integra Type R motor.

I wouldnt pay 14k. you could build the same car for that money with correct paint, A/C, etc. I think you should try to sell it for at least 11-12k. If not then just keep it.
