Re: Speedometer needles

Gir , i think the orange light on the needles(stock) comes from a light thats orange(or rather with a silicone gel covering it making it orange).

That IntelliGlow kit just changes the light with Leds or something. I think thats why it says you need the clear solid needles for it to work.

I like the way they look, Not cheap though
Do like the green needles, that would look great with blu on the gauges and interior

Re: Speedometer needles

yea i got the 2 big 2 small and hyper blue the kit also includes white gauge faces and your choice of red or White backlights and how it works is you keep you stock needles but when you take them off you sand off the orange paint from the back and paint it watever color you want i did it white cuz it reflects the light better, and the little LEDs are like on a round thing that go under the black round part of the needle

The back of the needle is painted orange, its clear on the top part and the sides, it can easily be scrapped of or sanded which makes it clear all around

you sir are a life saver ... In the near future when I finish up all my interior (now with needles ill try and post up a review - quick tips/help on everything about changing the GA Face interior.

I went and looked at my needles carfully yesterday afternoon and did notice that it looks like it is only the bottom. What'd really be nice if you were to get a Frosted look from sanding the whole needle very carefully...

Frosted look w/ blue .. psh might as well be cold as ice

examples:

lol, look... blue balls

Edit:

frosted glass krylon http://www.misterart.com/store/view....&group_id=2320
Might be onto something lol...

maybe some very fine sandpaper all around and this spray w/ some masking tape =o

That sounds like a good idea Gir. Take some pics if you can, that'll make a good how-to

Frosted would work great for that needle..

Haha Foreigner 4 babie, cold as ice
That reminds me of Aqua Teen Hunger Force,
when Carl got the Foreigner 4 belt
