No, cause you'll get all the SRT-4 and Mopar guys all pissy and they'll argue that it's different.

Then it'll turn into a 3 page ordeal about who's right and who's wrong. So, I'm stopping it here.

Please.

Thank you.

Re: SRT-4...Really that good?

can the RSX-S and the Civic Si be as easily modified to be powerful as the SRT-4? cuz i read that the bolt ons for the rsx-s dont do that much at all, but theres still alot to do to it other than that right? i dont really care if its a neon at all, but in terms of performance/upgradeability/handling would you say the srt-4 or the rsx-s/civic si? or anything else in the price range?

please for the love of god take the Si out of hte equation. all of them are much much slower then the RSX-S and SRT-4. even when you start modding it it will be slower. your starting off with alteast 40 to 80 less hp right off the bat compared to the other 2 cars.

even the faster 99-00 Civic Si powered by the B16a don't have that much potential with bolt ons as the rest of these cars.

stock Civic Si's puts down only 127-130whp stock. the RSX type S will yeld about 170whp and hte SRT-4 puts down 215-230whp stock depending on year of hte car.

hte RSX type S's K20 engine is a master piece ( don't confuse this K20 with the lower K20's from the new civic Si because those 160hp K20's are trash ). they get get 200whp n/a pretty easily on it. so the first 30-40whp is not hard at all with the RSX type S which will put it about even with a stock SRT-4.

to get more then 210 whp you will need to look at more hardcore solutions such as a full stand alone ecu, head work, and maybe some nitrous/super charger/ turbo.

what hte RSX type S loses to the SRT-4 in, it makes up for it in handling, smoothness, and interior and arguably looks.

the SRt-4 can hit 300whp pretty easily.
