Uh, your streetracing is kinda wierd., looks like a town gathering or something. Then again, I'd gather for a 300ZX and an E55.

Well, they are the Standard AMG rims. They do kinda look like there's almost no gap between the metal though.

The E55 for what it is, is a very good car.....i mean it has almost has the same (its a hair slower) performence as an M5 that is driven by a PROFESSIONAL DIRVER.....but all you have to do in an E55 is slam your foot down, and hold on...

yeah it's so shitty that they're automatic only.... that's why I like M5s cause it's manual only..... for real drivers, not for retards who just know how to slam the peddle down

Well thats one way to look at it....but i mean if you spend most of your time in rush hour traffic you're probly better off with an automatic....and from what i hear the really great thing about the BMW M5 and M3 is that they are "driver cars" but that is also one of there cons....they are suposedly too hardcore for some. So i guess its just prefrence. Granted BMW ARE alot more orientated towards driving, not JUST because it comes manual but also if you want to shut off all the BS driving aids you can, but in all benz's you cant. (even when you "shut them off" they're still running, just at 60% productivity)

Cool Old Guy

I'm an old guy who chose an E55 over an S-class. I may not use all that performance very often, but I like knowing that it's there. For my driving, an automatic works best. Of course, the transmission has the touch shift feature for manual up and down shifting. It may not be a true manual, but it works very well.

Cool old guy

I will be taking my E55 on a trip from home (NC) to West Virginia this coming weekend. Lots of twisty mountain roads. Should be fun! I will post some pictures when I get back. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cool Old Guy

I drove my E55 to WV last weekend. This was my first trip in it. I did quite a bit of both freeway and mountain road driving. All I can say is, "I own the road."

I've attached a picture.

Oh, how nice. I love to see an AMG anytime. Does it say who built your engine?
