Re: mods for my car

we could talk ALL day long about these cars. but us typing won't benefit you. reading and researching yourself it what will pay off. read the FAQ sticky thread. there are links to other sites in there, read thsoe too.

bring your questions here, and we'll be happy to answer them. we're not gonna lecture to you. if you want to learn about these cars, you have to have the desire to learn (1st order desire, IIRC...Igovert?). and if you have the desire to learn, we have pointed you in the right direction.

Man, the Testarossa isn't a very good Ferrari. Do you like it just because you saw it on Miami Vice? Go with the 308, the car the F-40 was based on, or a nice GTC. I can think of a lot better choices, but hey if that's what you like then so be it.

what type of bullshit are you spewing out? Why are you assuming I just saw the car for the first time in my life, and decided that I want to buy it. By the way, I've never seen a single episode of Miami Vice. I've always liked Ferrari, but I knew that I could never afford one. One day, I will be able to afford one, and I will seriously consider buying one. I like the styling of the Ferrari better than any other Ferrari out there (except the Enzo, but I don't have a million dollars). I'd also like to know why you say "the testarossa isn't a very good Ferrari". What do you base that on?

Hey, I wasn't trying to be an ass, it was just a joke. If that's what you like then so be it. I'm just saying there are better choices IMO.

Re: mods for my car

If I was to go for an old school Ferrari, it would have to be the F40, that is a raw machine man. That opinion was finalised after I saw an epesode of Top gear which featured old school super cars Vs the new super cars.

Re: mods for my car

...where are you getting this money from? That's well over $18,000 in mods, not to mention work time, welding etc. These aren't just bolt on kits. They require EXTENSIVE tuning and and amazing suspension to work right. I don't know what you're smoking, but pass it on over here when you're done.

Here's a quote from Matt Monett's sig(he owns the fastest and quickest VR4 in the world)-
There are 2 ways to make a car fast.
#1 use the Right combo of parts
#2 Throw so much money at it that the car has no choice but to be fast.

I choose #1
