Re: blower motor

I've finally got my blower motor working and not a moment to soon as we have already had some frost. It turned out to be the AC/heat/vent switch even though the hi/lo switch was melted. It was probably a combination of the two so I suggest that if this ever happens to anyone else that you replace the entire face plate (takes less than a minute once the dash cover is taken off and was only $15 from the junk yard). I also replaced the blower motor with a used one that works much better than the one I had. This could have likely caused a surge of power resulting in lost switches. Well, thanx to all for the advice and I hope this information helps the next person with a blower motor problem.
