Re: srt vs. m3

a chase is a race. no jk. In instances like this, where I chase, and am obviously faster, I don't consider it a lose just becuase I don't pass the guy. I've had races like this, where I didn't pass the guy, but could have bumper tapped him whenever I felt like it. nice race.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

yup. i wouldnt consider that a death just because he didnt want to go an extra 30mph to pass him.. so you're bascially saying if a stock civic starts 6 bus lengths in front of a viper hennessey and they race for 4 seconds and then they both let off when the viper is 1 car length behind then the civic can add a viper to his kill list? um no.

good kill man.

Re: srt vs. m3

If that Viper chooses to start the race 6 cars back then he chooses so only because he feels confident about that scenario. Now if the Viper goes for it and lets off a car behind the Civic.....well then he didnt pass the civic did he? Yes I would say the Civic can add the Viper to its kill list but only because the driver pussied out, not cause the Civic is faster! duh.

Ive ran 911s that didnt want to climb above 130 for fear of loosing control. I respect that but if I have the testicular fortitude.....or stupidity to go above that speed then I win.

If you dont want to loose then find a way to start side by side, if you choose to start way back then you have to pass in order to win, closing the gap is fine but its not winning.
Gotta know how to choose your battles.

That's funny, I'd feel safer in a 911 doing 130mph, than I would in a GTO doing 90mph.

With that said, saw a red LS2 GTO today... was that pearl/maroon red. Lovely color. Old d00d gave me weird looks cause I was checkin out his ride.

Shut up Zscream! I never said I ran those guys in the GTO, thats when me and my friend took his VR-4 up to Orlando and ran into a Porsche car-club in Lake Worth.
we did like 7 runs and beat them out 3 times.
