Re: How many models in your to-do pile?

I'm down to about 30. It would be MUCH higher, but I havn't had the money to buy kits recently.

Re: How many models in your to-do pile?

About 40 or 50, including the 7 or 8 that are currently in build. Currently, I'm only buying kits that I REALLY want

Re: How many models in your to-do pile?

The quick answer is all 850 kits but as far as the number of kits already started, that would be about 35.
I plan to live to be 400 years old and build them all!

Re: How many models in your to-do pile?

Self Control HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! What's That????????????

132 Plastic 1/12
6 Resin 1/12
173 Plastic 1/20
224 Resin 1/20
402 Plastic 1/24
71 Resin 1/24
87 Plastic 1/12 Bikes
2 Resin 1/12 Bikes.

My inventory list is 1861 line items long .

This includes everything from decals bought for a decal change to transkits along with all the base kits.

No I don't own a shop and I rarely sell anything. I just love the hobby and thought I would set myself up for retirement. I figure as I get older I can always sell off some rare kits to offset my retirement (or lack there of).

If anyone wants a copy of my list I can email it to you.

Re: How many models in your to-do pile?

I started building about 2 years ago, and have been serious sbout it for about a year. In that time, I've accumulated about 25 kits (4 of which are in progress). This year, my New Year's resolution was zero growth - finish a kit for every kit I buy. I wish I could say I was sticking to it....

Where do you keep your warehouse? Because, I can't imagine storing that many kits in a bedroom closet..

His wife told him "Either those kits go or I go!"

I'm sure he misses his wife.

Re: How many models in your to-do pile?

Wow! After reading what you guys posted up, I feel much better about just having kits lying around collecting dust. I thought i was out of control until i read several of you are in the hundreds and one of you has over 1000 kits I only have 7 underneath my bed and 2 in progress.

Re: How many models in your to-do pile?

I guess maybe 40/50, but only ever one in progress. A few 1/12th F1, mostly 1/20th and 1/24th competition but a few 1/12th bikes and a couple of 1/43rd
Oh and loads of decals, c/f, p/e etc.

Guess that lot will keep me going for years...
