Actually reminds me of my old E30 BMW more than anything. Oh, and I'll take an AE86 Corolla, however.

Very good car that E30 M3 is. Also, nice run...although it was shut down a bit premature. Things arent quite decided yet at only 60 mph and 1 car length.

Re: 91 SE-R vs. 2003 20th Anniversary GTi
I'm being completely honest and not just saying this but i asked my cousin how fast we went up to becasue i was sitting in the back seat and I need glasses so I couldn't sees the speedometer but his friend said we did at least 70 almost 80 but has to slow down because we were coming up on a rotary. I would have posted sooner but my cousin just came by today. Next time I'll pay more attention.
Also awesome car BullDog71ss. I love them. Me and dad drove one at GM Autoshow In Motion and he said the car felt like it was on rails and it felt as tight as the Corvette.

But seriously. I'd rock one if I were able to find one period, as they are so rare nowadays, and most people who already own one do not want to get rid of it. Even if you find one, good luck finding one that's ten grand overpriced. They're not as fast as even the E36 M's in a straight line, but I'll take on anyone on a tight course with an E30 M.

Thanks man, They are a very nice handling car for a fwd .Just needs a bit more get up and go in the straights is all...rwd would have been neato as well. 70-80 also sounds a bit better. But next time I want speeds in excess of 120 mph! Just kidding, young drivers should do 5 under at all times. ![]() Quote:
I think the E36 was overall the much nicer of the two cars, but there's a carisma in the E30 that no other 3 series car has. I'd love to have one as well.

wasnt tryin to pushg at ya gotian. rice(er), they are all boxes. ikd actually have to agree with carrrnut. i drive my moms corrolla sometimes, and i just hate it. thing has a little low tq, but sux ass to me. turns really sharp, but the suspention ruins it to me. car is too small, or maybe its just that my mom has the seat all the way up....

Re: 91 SE-R vs. 2003 20th Anniversary GTi
I just want an M, period. But yeah, nice race. I hope it was up to 70 or 80, though. However, I think I finally figured out why all these ricers claim they run nines and tens...its their zero-60 time.

Re: 91 SE-R vs. 2003 20th Anniversary GTi
Well my cousin is 26 so he isn't that young but he is a pretty decent driver. I dont think I'll race to much on the highway because my Corolla can't do much on the highway. I just hope to kill a few 2.0 Jetta/Golfs from stoplight to stoplight. I know the Corolla isn't anything fast but that's why I have my Camaro.

Re: 91 SE-R vs. 2003 20th Anniversary GTi
Nice Kill. I believe it, seeing as how the b13's were able to pull 0-60 in just under 7 seconds stock (if a good driver was pulling it out), you said he had headers so that would also make a little difference on bottom end as well. BTW, if it was a 20th anniversary it was a 6-speed.
