Atleast you're well-read on your male-bashing jokes of us women!!! Props for that one... And the answer to that is a RESOUNDING YES.
Just kidding
I don't need to fuel million-year fires!

As for the freudian symbolism, I believe that the tree would represent sexual energy, and the falling would be a lack there-of. (Think of the male member) Freud would wonder if that "tree" fell, since reproduction would be virutually impossible, would that person whose "tree" is dysfunctional, be able to make a name for his family since he would be the last member!!!!

Anyhoo... In a physical science manner, the vibration caused by the tree hitting the ground would be inevitable. Whether or not vibration is considered sound depends on the interpreter... Even the deaf can feel vibrations!!!! :hehe:

The answer is simple. Do not fall, but grow with the forest, learn to live with the forest as it grows along with you. together you, the tree, and the forest, your parents, will live in harmony.

i think you've had a lil too much :bonghitte

Then again, if you buy into the Schrödingers Cat theory, it made no sound, becuase no one was there to observe it. Hell, it didn't even fall. Just the very fact that someone being present to observe it, changes the outcome of the event.

I figured a "cat theory" would say that the tree would fall, but always land on its feet. :hehe:

Now I have a very important question!!!

Why has Jay turned this into yet another "pointless poll" thread?!?

If a thread falls into pointlessness, can it ever make it back on-topic?
