The plugs NEVER come gapped correctly from the factory. Do not listen to the box. Go to your local car store(advanced auto, napa, etc.) Buy a .99 cent spark plug gapper. Take your plugs and gap them between 0.028 and 0.030.

Both sets of plugs I've bought (a set for a '95 Civic and a set for my car--both NGK's) came gapped correctly. But I have heard they can be incorrectly gapped.
The round disk gapper (asuming you mean that one being 99 cents), is not as accurate as the feeler gauge type. But maybe the disc is better in some other way. ![]() Disc: ![]() Feeler:
