i did all the body work too, (with the exception of the rear fender dent and the paint) so i appreciate the comments on the car, the engine paint is anyone's opinion, but it's great to hear people like the work i've put into bringing the J30 back from death.

Any ideas on what i should do next? i don't think the 300zx na headers will fit the J, but i've thought about trying them out and running a custom dual exaust.

u could try. it wouldnt hurt im sure. just get the measurements of the headers and measure it out. next y dont u finish cleaning up the rest of the engine bay. do 1 area at a time or u will forget about it im sure. do a tune up or w/e. clean everything in there. paint the rest of the stuff in there to match or replace to help u performace wise.

yea i'm cleaning up the bay saturday (thanks for the advise everyone!) it's been tuned up a year ago, i don't really can think about anything else to paint to be honest... i want to keep it like that. only thing with performance, it's kind of a hit or miss.. not many people know of anything to replace (or if anything is made for it)

The car really does look clean now. I can't believe how haggard it was before you started working on it. Nice job on the tlc.

The green is also not horrible...it's something much worse than that. It's, rice...(gasp)


I think a nice maroon would do nicely for those parts, but not lime-green or whatever that stuff is.

no, rice is stating that the green color boosts my hp by 10.

i was hoping for a darker green (the can top was much darker) and maybe later when i get bored with it, i'll paint it something else, but till then, it's green.

i apprecaite the comments. yea it's been through hell and back fixing up but it's a great car to drive and i love the looks i get heh.

i bought some enkei 17"s today from a friend of vip's. i'll install and of course show you guys first.

Rice = any distasteful modification to a vehicle and 90% of the posters on this thread agree that it doesnt look very tasty...therefore, it be rice

Just don't go around poppin' that good for all the homies untill you get it covered up with something a little more reasonable
