he was talking about a spendy rebuild job on a zc. i bought a y8 cheap...no rebuild. the ZC has supposedly 2-3 hp on the y8 fast is good and all but, isn't gonna make or break me. it's the 12,000 miles that i couldn't argue with ![]() ami

A standard ZC swap would cost me around $1500 a standard b16a swap would cost me around $4000 is the b16a really worth that extra money for a daily driver? I really want to spank the mustangs and the ricers around here and i think i could do that with a good ZC turbo build up that would cost a grand more than the b16a swap itself... I think 220hp and 180-200 torque would do just fine... I was reading about ZC turbo buildups and one guy who built his up ran a 12.8 I think that is damn good and there is more potential that he is planning on using so he expects to run in the 11s.... The B16a has more parts availible, has vtec, is popular, would give me the whole JDM EF9 theme I am trying to accomplish, and comes with more horse power thought not much more torque..

Welll I guess I could just get the JDM front conversion have it painted and put on then drop the b16a in 3-4months later....... But after the conversion I plan on redoing my suspension... $700... Swapping for the the integra rear braking system and upgrading front rotars... $450... SiR spoiler... SiR taillights... Sir rear seat... Si front seats... seats being reupholstered... JDM door panels (just got today hehehe
), JDM power windows, MoMo steering wheel, integra lower console with armrest, SiR fog lights and switch, SiR gauge cluster with dome, kick panels, hmm i probably forgot something but I have a long list at home... I would have the money for the swap if I didn't do any of that.... that will cost around $3500 for my list before the engine swap..

I want a rear SiR bumper but I can't find one anywhere and don't want to pay $300 to get it shipped from Japan... I think I should but a plane ticket to japan ($1350 round trip) bring an extra $2k, two empty suitcases. and hit the junkyards grab as much JDM stuff as possible no matter from what year or model of honda or nissan.. Then come back and sell everything on ebay... I bet I could pay off my plane ticket, the cost of the parts and make over $1k extra on the side.. Plus I would have the all mighty JDM momo non srs steering wheel with red stitching and everything else JDM I could ever want and need..... Or I could just buy an SiR and pay the $750 to get it shipped to then licensed in the US.. Ah I live in a dream world because that will never happen....
