i dont know what your mechanical savvy is but if you wanted to get started on some simple mods you could also check out some of the things in the faq. gives you a good idea how good you are with general mechanics and gives you an idea of the kindof time and work (and cussing, lol) that go into working on cars.

i got my start on my friends train-wreck of a car. it was a 1984 bmw 318i that he got for 100 bux and it had over 300k miles on it... when the odometer gave out on the last owner 3 years ago, haha.

I really appreciate the help... I have actually learned QUITE a bit over th past couple of days...

lol...

too bad it started leaking tranny fluid again
Back into the shop it goes for another couple of days...

but the thinking, earning of $ and time invested still continues...

BTW the faq... i'm really surprised i didn't look at that before... its really good! thank you
