My best time on my 98 SH with the only mods being a Greddy EVO exaust is 16.1 @87 mph. That was with a sorry launch and poor shifting into second. Im pretty sure with a good launch and smooth shifting i could pull a 15.9.

My best time with my SS with only an AEM CAI was a 16.8. This was during a muggy day and I still didn't have the shifts just right...I have since added a thermal exhaust...I ran on g-tech before exhaust and it being muggy and ran consistent 16.5's. Now I run consistent 16.1's and 16.2's.

people need to remember that 1/4 mile times vary due to so many different conditions and driver ability. and everybody makes such a big deal over it.. a 15.1 and a 15.9 is less then one second difference... wheelspin, temperature, humidity, nervousness, pavement, shifting, tire condition, etc etc make all the difference at the track. |

15.2 @ 93 mph...the track i ran at was 75/80 Dragway in Maryland...slightly uphill believe it or not..and i was on my 40,000+ mile street tires...launching could have used some improving tho..and my tires didn't grip too well...

the bottom end was done by us also, but the balancing was done at Kittlers down here in Louisiana... as they have the machines to do it right. saved myself over $1200 in just labor alone. |

The difference in the track time and the G-tech is that the G-tech starts timing once you move. The track doesn't time you until you trip the lights. Unless you stage deep the beem at the back of the front tire, your car will roll at least 6inches before the timer starts. Also 0.2sec is about a full car length in the quarter. I haven't run my Prelude yet but I haven't been beat by any other Prelude I've raced. I think I gotta good one.
Last time I ran my 89 Accord it ran a 16.1 at 87mph.

[email protected]' ET 2.230. Could've ran faster with a better 60', and if I ran in my stockies. Haven't ran mine with the pulleys yet. Another friend of mine in another board ran 13.7 on his 4th gen VTEC, all-motor.
