Your car is a bit flashy for my taste, but it looks good man. Nice job. Nice to see people taking care of their 4th gens.

BTW why do you call the power lifts coilovers?? And I mean no disrespect when I say this, but it's called a header, not headers. I realize that english isn't your first language, I'm just letting you know.

I'll remember that power lifter and header...
You know whay I was thinking that those things are called coil-overs too,
cause in here we say to coil-overs:amortizers and that's what we call those power lifters too...

Thnx again :flash:

I guess my point was that really it's pedantic and not really worthy. FYI, people interchange the words and no-one seems to have issues with it. Picking up on someone's grammar when the word was perfectly acceptable... well, what can I say?

Still, if it means so much to you, I'll pass you the aloe-vera tissues for sensitive skin

Yeah a Coil-Over is a spring/strut thing that you can manually adjust the height of your car with. The thing for the hood is more of a gas shock lift.

Also Bonrath makes stuff for VW, not Honda, are you sure it will fit anyway?

It was obvious that he doesn't speak english very well so I kindly corrected him and you get your panties in a bunch. Seems to me that you are the only one around here with the problem.

Actually, Emil speaks English very well for someone who is using it for a second language. If he'd used a word no-one understood then sure, maybe clarify it... but to be pedantic over one letter? Hell, that smacks of anal-retention

I don't have a problem with header/s at all - but as usual, someone can't even follow what emoticons mean. Maybe it's just Aussie humour verses US... from experience over here it's always an issue with visitors from the US.

/passes Skynex a nice soft tissue

Actually Bonrath makes stuff for various car brands including Honda. My hood lifts are from Bonrath and they are made for the 4th gen Civic / CRX so they fit without a problem.

LMAO Its funny that you used the term anal-retention. Cause friday morning I had surgery to remove a golfball sized cyst from my tailbone. So maybe it was unnecessary of me to correct him. It makes no difference to me seeing how I have been stoned from the pain killers this whole weekend. :bonghitte

Thumbs up

Hahaha - you guys crack me up.

Setanta - maybe instead of an aloe-vera tissue, you shoulda handed him some nice soft toilet paper...
If I stuffed a V-8 into my Civic, could I then call them headerS?? - lol!!

Skynex - Hope you're OK after getting a chunk of your rear-end cut out.

Emil - I think your English is great. I also think us Americans are pretty stuck up when we expect everyone else to speak our language. At first I didn't understand "coil-overs for your hood" - - which is why pictures always help a lot!! Every time I see your stock ZC it makes me drool. 1.6i-16's rock!!! Yummy!! :flash::licker:

Thnx for compliments,
I'll try to improve my english more, I know it's bad but it'll get better in time and I'll improve it more talking to you, so if I write some confusing word that you won't understand, just say and I'll try to tell it in other words :flash:

Actually it's pretty weird, but we hon't call them "header/s" over here - they go by the name "extractors". I only just realised that I tend to use the name since hanging around forums with Americans on it

Just one more vagrancy of the different dialects between our countries
