Re: Mm... some Cf progression.

They are about 10-15lbs, stockers i would say rougly 20-25lbs. But you have to remember CF hoods have a fiberglass base and the durability of the product is resting upon the manufacture unlike the stock steel hoods are sound. To me the hood looks like its great quality and is made my Aerogear/ Wayson USA. If it was a VIS hood, i would be rocking w/o pins. BUt i also bought the hood used and came predrilled with the pins in here.

I never weighed mine, but for comparison's sake...

It was a struggle to carry my stock hood down to my basement, both hands.

I comfortably carried my new hood to the same place with one arm.

Re: Mm... some Cf progression.

Ahhh.... someone raped the front end of my car...

Here is the rust bubble on the fender where the mud flaps use to sit...its identical to the other side.

I had to play with the 2000+ headlights just to see what they were going to look like. However i need to get the brackets still to hold them in place properley.

I'll keep throwin up new pictures as i get this project more towards done...

Re: Mm... some Cf progression.

Why did you decide to go with the 2000+ headlights instead of the projectors? I'm wanting to do the opposite swap lol.

For the type-j body kit... besides the light output on the projection headlights is total crap without going HID and I was into month # 3 of waiting to get my original body kit Buddy club 2 thru Aplus performance and i didn't want to wait any longer. So i scraped that idea and went this way instead. BUt trying to find the last few remaining parts i need for this damn swap is being a royal pain in my ass....

Yes, its a custom welded Stainless Steel CAI, they are made by my good friends at RDFABS All your big companies like AEM or Injen are aluminum, while these are SS. They are hand polished to a mirror shine and will retain it with a little windex cleaning from time to time.

Understandable. I'm wanting to do the HID headlights anyways, so projectors won't be a problem. Shame I don't have what I need to do the swap or I'd give you what you needed from my headlights.
