Re: Tokyo Xtreme Racer---drift

I thought TXR 3 was a much better game. In Drift the loading and all around menu setup is garbage. Not enough cars, the physics are not good. I wish they would have just enhanced 3 with more upgrades, different areas to drive in, Have like teams where you can actually be a part of one and climb up the ranks that way. Maybe have a drag mode. I tried to play Drift and get past the things I didnt like, but it was just a chore because of the user unfriendly design and gameplay. Im a big TXR fan, but this game just dissapointed me.

Re: Tokyo Xtreme Racer---drift

Yea it seems like your typical TXR game except with much improved graphics. I looked up alot of reviews for it, and ofcourse it didn't score well, but they never do. I just know that that game and Forza 2 are the single most reasons I want a Xbox 360.

Re: Tokyo Xtreme Racer---drift

My friend has PS3 in his dorm and he downloaded the demo...PS3 is something else. So I played it and got 2nd place in a few tries. That was not easy, being sideways...there was one part that pissed me off, it didn't seem that there was anyway to lose more grip then when you were sliding, so there was no racing line, at ALL. The boost system was useable at strange times. If you are sideways for too long, you will crash, out of the race...and magically respawn in the race...weird....

Re: Tokyo Xtreme Racer---drift

yea i have boughten all previous versions of TXR and drift seems to be the best because cruising around looking for cars is fun for about a day then it drags, so they make a sequal to the game thats the exact same thing but thats the only reason why i like drift better

as for ITC it is a very good game, i would recommend it and it will keep your intrest, nice mods, bareable graphics, and alright physics

even though it is just like the old TXR

are you talking about ridge racer on the PS3?

if you are then IMO the game sucks SO bad, its a ported over piece of crap that even the graphics are the same, I hate the fact that they are into thier seventh game and the drifting is still so horrible.. I know this isn't supose to be real but after a drift you can't turn out of it and you're sliding sideways down the straight then while you're still sliding sideways a turn comes up and it turns the corner for you but you still hit the wall after trying to correct.. they should stop wasting thier time making horrible games like these

Drift 2 is a let down again. No long loads but the game got harder!
