Re: Fun with a DSM

What's wrong with it? Great party mix. I'm not a huge hip-hop fan as I listen to heavy metal, older rap, and almost anything else thats decient to listen to. Anyway, thats not what this thread is about so back to biz.

Re: Fun with a DSM

What I was saying was that any mildly modded TURBO DSM would have eaten you for lunch, that's all.

yeah sure if you wanna look at it that way but then after having him for lunch the DSM would go home and then the phone would ring and the DSM would pick up the phone and be like "who this is? " and the other guy would be like "yo is me dawg, the 3KGT you had for lunch, you wanna gimmie a re-match for dinner?" and the DSM would be all like M-Kay.

so then at dinner time the DSM and the 3KGT would line up and off the line the DSM would blow something and break down and the 3KGT would have it for dinner cause you know its a DSM and all so they always break the second time round.
ha and the 3KGT would ride off into the sunset saying "I was built in Nagoya beotch!"

now where did I put my beer?

And any mildly VR4 would then come and eat that DSM as a midnight snack.

But Musashi's post was a lot funnier so I'll leave now.

Now where did I put me Cherry Coke?

Exactly. If your comparing the top model of the DSM then compare it with the top model VR4. Which as said, would eat a DSM alive.

And thats pretty damn funny Musashi.

Re: Fun with a DSM

Musashi, I couldn't help but laugh, mainly because there's so much truth in what you said. I've had my share of problems with my DSM, the biggest being goddamn crankwalk in my 7-bolt motor. And yes, depending on the level of mods on the VR4 it could go either way. Remember, it doesn't take a ton of money to get a DSM up to mid-high 300'swhp.

that's cute, stickin' up for the new car

i think an actual dsm in general (stock) would have raped you, but good kill!! you never know though, it may have been a slushbox turbo one, those are fairly weak as well!

I dunno man, I love my 3000GTs but I gotta tell ya, 3 thousand dollars goes a long way in a first gen DSM! Ive owned three first gens and now my wife's second gen. I like DSM cars but man are they a pain to keep on the road.
still my old Talon TSI ran 11s before it blew.
yeah Ive lost loved ones to crankwalk too.

Re: Fun with a DSM

I gotta say though, if I had the money, I'd LOVE to get a GTO. Yours in that blue is just flat out sexy. Or perhaps a T/A WS.6. Just because I drive a DSM, doesn't mean I don't respect muscle.

Re: Fun with a DSM

From what I've heard recently about DSM's is making me think a little. They are always thought of as "cheap speed" but now I'm thinking mabye not seeing as how they are always braking down.

Musashi, I would honestly be curious to know if you get as many head turns when driving the GTO as you did the 3kgt.

Re: Fun with a DSM

You only hear about the DSM's online that break. People don't post about how well theirs is holding up.
