mushashi... damn man.. your lucky. my dad (back in the day) had his formula one firebird and raced a cop... beat him... pissed the cop off, so the cop put him in jail, while in holding, my dad told another cop he was mad cause his firebird beat the other guy, the other cop laughed and went "get out of here now, we got murderors to put where your standing"

Working at a Truck Stop for 20 years of my life, I have gotten to know quite a few State Troopers, if you ever want to hear some funny ass stories get to know one, some of the stuff I have heard have been totally hilarious. Met another at a out of town Drag Strip that races a very nice looking Cuda, (Who killed me in eliminations) at the time I had no clue he was a trooper until 2 weeks later I was coming home from the local Drag Strip and the truck broke down on the interstate, wouldn't you know the Trooper that stops to assist me just happens to be the Cuda guy, we shot the bull for 15 minutes before he had to split and he radioed the other guys patrolling to check on me from time to time until my help arrived. Then theres another who I used to work with when he was younger and later on grew up tall and stout and he was working on restoring a Split Window Vette who would stop for coffee and BS'ing in the middle of the night when I worked 3rd shift.

Yeah it's nice to have fun on the streets, they like to have some fun too. Musashi just happened to get lucky and got pulled over by an Officer/Car Guy who also appreciated what he was driving and eventually got props on his ride and one of the nicest warnings he will ever get from a dude with a badge.

Damn you're lucky. You won't find any cool Highway Patrol in CA that's for sure.

BTW I just noticed you're car has the Blue interior, you suck! I spent a month trying to find an impulse/blue interior 05 M6. Closest one was 300 miles and they wouldn't budge on the price. Nice car.

Those are some cool stories AWP9521, I know alot of nice cops but I never pulled a buck-twenty on any of them. this guy was just amazingly nice to let me go. I know they like cars, you kinda have to if you want to be in a car all darn day.

Dano bro, I had to go up like 80 miles over to another city to find this car. The only Blue on blue they had in Miami had the factory body kit so they wanted 40K rather then the 32 its worth.
I did a quick on-line inventory search, found one up stream, called to confirm and booyaah!
funny thing is I wassnt planning on buying that day, I just wanted to see one and test drive it but the dealers in Miami also wouldnt let me even test em unless they did a credit check.

Musashi, you are so lucky. You will never hear a story like this in SC. If you get caught here by a SC Trooper they will give you a ticket every time. A county or city cop is a different story depending on the county or city. And if you are ever stopped in an import by an SC trooper, they will nail your ass because they personally believe that you are possessed by the devil and are spreading evil throughout their high moral right wing tightly bred christian way of life. True story...

Yeah man I don't have to tell you how amazing of a break you got...doing 120 and getting pulled over, the cop would probably have taken my license, had my car towed and just issued me a court summons....they dont play around with street racing, and they dont play around with doing anything over 60 over the limit

I dont think we could get away with that here musashi, your lucky. My friend lost his license for racing a kid up to 40 on a 35. It probably didnt help that he was driving an old riced out accord though lol.

wow musashi props on getting off and that beautiful car also..it varies from area to area around here out west we got cops that have drove up to where were racing and have actually raced people there, funniest thing was when a buddy of mine got a ticket because he raced a cop from a dig and beat him..down south cops wont race you but are not complete assholes..i got pulled over racing a riced out crx doing 95 in a 40 he got arrested and i got three tickets..up north cops are total assholes anything over the speed limit and youre getting arrested and your car impounded..but glad to see you are still out there doing your thing..have always enjoyed the musashi kill stories

I dont think I've ever heard of cops that do that around here. And yes Musashi, you're lucky, so lucky I would like to give you a back hand to the face for being that lucky. I have never once been given a warning (excpet for having headlight out). It was always a ticket. And of course, the biggest asshole I ran into was a state trooper out of another town. I'm sure some 3S members have heard this but he accused me of running from him and lying to him. Which no, I did neither. Oh, and I agree with Tat, if would have had a Japanese import your ass would be grass.

it also helps you drive a domestic car too... most cops see an import car and go "what a damn fast and furious wannabe... gotta give him a ticket" they see a muscle car and go "damn, that's a beautiful car... i want a better look at it"

^Not completely true.
my best friend Jorge got his STI in late 2003 and about a month later got pulled over by a cop. The cop walked up to him on the passenger side and started asking him questions about the car and never even told him why he pulled him over. Just checked out the whole car top to bottom.
He then told him to have a nice day and walked off.
the cop litteraly just wanted to check out the car and nothing more.

Also I know some cops are so chill that they'll even race kids from time to time. Ive seen cops tell guys "you think your heap can burn my cruiser?" and then run them.
