Nice work and nice project.
Maybe, when I’ve more experience, I’ll do one of these. Congratulations. Orlando. |

For a wing, you could just scratch build one. And by not "ricey" you mean tall im guessing. You could try a Cuda Rear wing or a Plymouth Duster wing. both look good on older cars and have just the right height to clear the side fenders. By the way, nice front end, thats the hardest part I had when I made mine. Just remember one thing, watch the movie as many times as possible to get the car looking right.

those wheels are called "daggers" ialways wanted them in chrome but all they had was gold, the car looks great but for the wheels try to score a Cobra and use the wheels from that.

Ok, I`ll repost some of the info I typed in the first thread, since that seems to have disappeared. I started with Monograms Cobra Gt350H kit and used the front end from the 350 R kit, though it had to be modified quite a bit. The stripes are painted on. I formed the rocker panels and ground effects out of some scrap plastic. The exhuast from the headers back was scratchbuilt with aluminum tubing. It has a fully detailed nitrous kit, including braided lines and solenoids (the car in "Gone in 60 Seconds" had nitrous). I am really glad to be finished this project. I was ready to quit many times. I think I am going to find a new hobby.

That thing looks friggen amazing.
Is the color silver? Cause it looks sort of blue in the pic. Maybe it is just me though. But it still looks amazing. Got any more pictures of it?
