Feel free to buy me a Volkswagen Touareg any day [Well, when it becomes available]. It's everything a SUV should be.

They're not all bad. My dad drives a 99 Grand Cherokee and it's an LEV. Plus it has plenty of power. I just get sick of seeing one person driving around in a damn Suburban or an Expedition, or some other enormous waste of space, like an Escalade or Navigator. The buy them so they can push other people around on the road and think they are more safe in a large vehicle, freaking tards.

No, the Touareg is far from a Passat, it may look like one, but it performs like a Range Rover [According to the few journalists that have driven it].

2 more rollovers with unbelted people inside today. 2 more fatalities.

When will people learn that an SUV is not a sports car and cannot handle like one??

You stole the words right out of my mouth.

I had a 73 full time 4-wheel drive Blazer that went rock crawling, river forging and snow plowing, and even pulled a Baja Bug behind it. It had all the creature comforts, air, 6 speaker with a power booster and 8-TRACK DECK! I drove it hard and sold it to a guy who need a throw away chase truck for the Baja 1000!

Sounds like what my old friend used to have in California.

bright red 73 blazer, white removable top. nice chrome mags. it was the coolest truck. used to cruise around in the summer with the top off.
