Bought A Xbox 360

they're everywhere ish. not in huge supply but you can find them a lot easier now. just gotta look for them bceause must people gave up.

The way I see it, the PS3 really is going to be worth the wait. so who wasted your money on an Xbox360 that doesn't have any games worth playing.

the thing is that the 360 already does have some decent games, and they'll get better as the time goes on. the PS3 isn't coming out until november (if then) and they're probably going to run int a shortage so some ppl are going to have to wait another year until they have the PS3. even if they do get one, they're not going to have good games until at least a year after the launch. if you're willing to wait 2 years be my guest. or you could get the revolution (when it comes out in like what? 5 years lol). i think microsoft have chosen a good release date for the 360 because they'll profit from the PS3's failings. i bet alot of people went and bought 360's when they heard the release date was postponed.

So far the games I've really liked are...

Oblivion - I've never played a game with so much freedom
COD2 - the single player is fun but I can spend hours playing this on live
Quake 4 - the multiplayer isn't as fun but the single player is long and challenging

So far the games I haven't liked are...

PDZ - the single player just sucked and the multiplayer wasn't worth it
GRAW - I know a whole lot of people love this game but I just don't have the patience to strategize, I just want to shoot somebody and be done with it

Here are a couple that are out right now that I wouldn't mind trying...

Far Cry Instincts Predator - I haven't really read up on this one but I've heard good things

Now I'm saving up and I should have some money to buy a couple of new games soon. I'm looking at several but this one has me interested the most.

I know, I know but for some reason I'm just curious because everybody who has tested this game loves it.

so, how many xbox360 games have you actually played?

Fight night, condemned, elderscrolls, battlefield, Ghost Recon are all good games worth playing IMO. the 360's launch titles weren't Amazing but when the next generation of games comes out (like the godfather, Resident Evil 5, Too Human, Halo 3 etc.) you're gonna be kicking yourself.

but speaking of not having any games worth playing, when's the last time you played your PS2(other than GT4)? I haven't even looked at mine in like 6 months other than to play Tourist Trophy, which entertained me for all of 2 days before i decided to get a 360. PS2 hasn't had a game worth 2 shits in a long time, PSP either. i'd rather play something new, than sit around and wait 9 months for a system that's probably gonna get pushed back again anyway. I'm gonna end up getting both systems, but at least i'll have a 360 to entertain myself til the PS3 comes out.

ive already beat the cool games on 360 so why would I waste money on one???

At least with the PS3 I know what's coming out and that it will be good. With teh 360, all I have is Halo to look forward and if it's anything like the 2nd one, I'll be disappointed 'cause I'll beat within the month I get it. Sure, i can keep playing it, but PS3 has more titles, better titles, and what wait? It's not like I'm dying to get it as soon as it comes out. I don't anyone here is ready to rush the store with a bat to beat people outta the way.

Sony hasn't had problems lately, all's smooth even teh controller issue. Besides, the Revolution is coming out around the same time and I'm just as psyched for that.

As always, we still have our old games to keep us enertained or bum off other people's 360's.

And I play my either my Gamecube, PS2, Super or original Nintendo everyday so bugger off ya douche! Ya can't beat the classics!

then why push the release date back another 9 months? that's not usually a sign of good things. if all was going well they'd put their system out ASAP. for every day that the 360's on the market and the PS3 isn't, is lost sales for Sony. not to mention the PS3's predicted launch price is around $800. anyone remeber 1993 when the 3DO system came out? it was the first real 32 bit system that cost $750 and was supposed to revolutionize games and be the dominant cd based gaming system? yeah, that shit lasted all of 6 months before they pulled it from the shelves becuase the considerably less expensive Playstation and Sega Saturn came out and killed it. that's what i predict for the PS3, who in their right mind would pay $800 for a PS3, it took me like 6 months to talk myself into spending $400 on the 360.

you know what i use my PS2 for now? my 360 sits on top of it. and my gamcube? i use that to keep all my xbox games from falling over.

Actually you're wrong on that part.. Metal Gear Solid 4 is coming out next year so if the Ps3 is going to come out as well next year you'll probably have to wait a couple of months to have a truly awesome game.

umm, PS3/XBOX, either one, i'm gonna wait til a good racing game comes out. If xbox has a new forza out first, that'll be what i get. if PS3 has a GT5 come out first, then it'll be the ps3. although, i still favor the xbox360 cuz ive got the first xbox. that and i have a secret vendetta against Sony.
