since the v8 is unbeatable

there are plenty of guys with v6 mustangs that would smoke you bad. for instance, a guy named justin running 10s on a completely stock engine + a turbo.

Re: Stealth vs. Mustang v6

Great way to read into what people say smart ass

I never said anything about me racing. I simply stated that I didn't see the point. I can undwerstand why someone would do it, but it still doesn't make much sense when you can have a perfectly reliable, powerful, and touch machine like a GT or a 5.0 . And secondly, I don't recall, nor did I ever say or make the assumption that a Gt was unbeatable. But if you look at the god given knowledge...stock v8 vrs stock v6...pwned. You modify each one to their cylinder specs...the v8 always pwns the mustang v6. So the next time you want to take what I say out of context, make sure you don't make such an ass out of yourself in th process.

Re: Stealth vs. Mustang v6

Alright look here, I don't know if you're the asshole patrol on here, but I think you need a new title. Me saying it doesn't make sense, vrs I can see why. Let me break it down for ya.

It honestly makes absolutley no sense for someone to mod the lower end of a car, when they are going to spend more money just to get up to the v8's level, when they could've just bought the v8, and started from there.

Saying I can see why, is because there are a lot of people who have no idea what they are doing when it comes to cars. Maybe the v6 was a gift, i don't know. But a more savvy person would've sold the v6, downgraded in the year, and maybe got a foxxie or something.

And if this is all you do on this website, maybe you should find more things to fill your day. Maybe read more, because it seems your neurons aren't firing fast enough.

because someone mods a v6 mustang, doesnt mean they dont know what they are doing when it comes to cars.

Re: Stealth vs. Mustang v6

Oh boy.... First off all, pissed off? Yea um....no.
Secondly, I was making a comment that is opinionated, I am entitled am I not? I don't quite see how you get ignorance from fact....that is beyond me. It is common knowledge that in the same body style, a v8 will out perform a v6 correct? Awesome, so in that case, you'd have to mod your car to equal that of a v8, correct? Awesome, so by you adding on to your v6, just to equal the v8, you are spending extra money correct? awesome, therefore, knowing that all you had to do was either not buy or trade in the v6 for the v8, as to start off higher with more hp and torque. Therefore, not having to start from a lower level, because you'd already be higher. Therefore, the mods that you did decide to put on would just be adding to existing hp(that of a more high performance vehicle, being v8 and all) therefore, with every mod the v8 puts on, the v6 would have to add an extra, ontop of what was already added(plus the money spent) so in theory..................if you're going to mod your car......buy a v8...you'll save money (aside from gas/insurance)

Re: Stealth vs. Mustang v6

Maybe the person loves the v6, maybe the car has sentimental value. Would similiarly modding a v8 produce more power, yes. Fine. Whatever, for whatever reason, he choose to mod the car, end of story. Just drop it, you don't want to be involved in fights already, with less than 10 posts.

I understand this. I was just stating an opinion. Obviously, we are not entitled to those .

So in theory, if i had 10+ posts, that would grant me the ok, to harsh on peoples opinions?

Re: Stealth vs. Mustang v6

Hey guys theres no need to fight. The kid with the mustang got it for a good deal and hes kind of a punk so he thinks its fast and he thinks he can beat this other kid that has an 02 stang gt. So hes kinda cocky. But when he got the car he didnt have big plans to mod it or anything and the insurance is cheaper on a v6. Also, a lot of people dont understand why peole would buy a non-turbo stealth or 3000gt. But those people dont understand that not everyone can afford the insurance and most teenager's parents arent gonna want to go near the car if the hear the words "twin turbo". So you have to think of it from the manufacturer's view. They need to make a car that is fast for the people that want it fast and can afford it, but then again they need to make the same car to have less power and less features otherwise they wouldnt sell for more than a few years without losing money on it. That is why you see different models in almost all cars. For example, Chevy makes the ss supercharged versions of some cars but they need to make it affordable and safe for people who like the car but dont need all the features so they take out the supercahrger and a few options like leather seats and power windows and things so other people can afford them and get what they want. That is the same reason Ford makes the v6 stang. Not to be as fast as the v8 and not meant to be modded to be as fast. So i say "to each their own". I hope this makes sense to everyone.

Re: Stealth vs. Mustang v6

Can we all just agree that both GT and V6 Mustangs are equally gay? Threads like this make my nuts itch....

Or maybe that's just the herpes....
