And to answer the original poster's qeuestion.
If you can put up with the harshness of an STi, then get it. The WRX is nowhere near the performance machine the STi is. And personally, I would get a second hand one, there is nothing in my body that would make me get the new ones. The power delivery is quite linear compared to the old ones which gives u a kick in the pants when boost came on. That makes driving more fun, imo, but you may like the more linear power delivery. The fun part about these cars is that off boost they are slow and feel fat. But once u hit boost, you get a kick in the ass and cars feel so damn nimble. I have no idea what kinda STi's america has floating around on the 2nd hand market but if I had the money, I'd trade my wrx up for an STi with 6 speed, forged internal, 2L. The My02 is the best example of this. But since they were never sold in USDM...oh well, I'm glad I live here then lol. Or, just get an evo.

Thx rob for understanding....
I might have failed to say what "detail" i want, but by my second post i have already say that i want to know more about the engine since it was label same engine with different hp and Tq figure on the engine, and i have also say that subaru.com was useless....however u keep asking me to go there.... either way...thx u for the http://www.cars101.com/subaru/imprez...2006.html...it got the stuff i need..
