"MAC Headers, TDS Stage III turbo"
I think you're driving around in your mom's stock, automatic Contour GLS, RICEBOY. You can't have turbo AND headers you idiot. When you get a turbo, you need what they call a turbo manifold. It takes the exhaust gases and spools them through a circular shaped turbine, which winds up and creats air that flows through your intake manifold to creat forced induction. Get away from here riceboy. Hey guys... I just got a RSX Type S, and I turbo'd it, and I got some some phat DC Sports headers, on TWO POINT FIVE INCH exhaust... Damn dat shit is TYTE yo!!!! I love it when my supercharger "spools up", I wish I didn't have Supercharger lag... Tsh... Idiot.

technically, if you only have one turbo, you can run a custom y pipe that runs into it that will allow you to run factory, or aftermarket headers
www.ludespeed.com has a kit for the v6 probe that is a similar setup. check it out to get the pic. but it uses factory/aftermarket headers it can be done. |

please retract stupid ass supercharger statement.
if you have a centrifugal blower, you will have a type of lag, and yes, the s/c will have to spool. vortech. vortech. vortech. |

i have to say is: 0-60 5.4 sec no mods.
SVT dubs can you drop some pics on that 99 4v 4.6 TDC stage 3 engine and maybe some of the car? i'm extremely familiar with turbo driven concepts but i've absolutely never heard of there being a 'stage 3' kit for the mod motored cobras just variants of the stage 2 (2x, 2xx). At one point there might have been a stage 3 for the two-valve 4-6 but i didn't think there was one for the 4v. What turbo does it use T66, T76? I just can't see where this stage 3 TDC turbo kit fits in especially since the stage 2 ranges from 500-1000 hp depending what equiptment you get it with. It sounds like you might be talking about stage 2x but then there'd be no need for half the parts you mentioned because it uses a catted Y-pipe format instead of a bassani X-pipe and custom fabricated race headers instead of MAC's (and does MAC's even make turbo headers?!). Unless you took it down to florida to get it worked over with a custom install there's too many gaps in your story to believe you.. Also you say you have 'forged everything' then what compression and boost do you run to achieve 644.46 rwhp? and what lift/duration are those 'custom grinded' AFM cams? i gotta get some more specs and or pics before i'm gonna swallow that pile of shit.

i'm not here to bash anyone. but both of my friends have svt contours
and they are quick. one of my friends ran his 15.29 @ 91.66 MPH(his car is bone stock)thats pretty good. i don't see many hondas/acuras running that.(not that they couldn't with a few mods.) |

not many hondas below the 15.29?
what about ludes and civic si's, and i'm sure there are times from gs-rs... and i'm not talking modded... someone else can back up the numbers, but there are hondas quicker than that stock... the rsx s is... |

Hahahaha thats funny ![]() Why am i here? I dont know, maybe im just looking around? Maybe cause your forum is more active? The Nova Forum is pretty bland if you check it out. As for picking on the "ricers" haha I guess you cant take a joke. Maybe taking the stick shift out of your ass would help? And for my car being slow? Yeah, it probably is compared to other Domestics with bigger engines, or people who have spent more time and money on their machines but in a 'even' race it holds its own, it wins some it loses some Im not ashamed to admit it. I'm happy with my weekend driver and being only 19 I hardly make enough to afford the car as it is, so i think its pretty damn decent thank you very much. And I do give advice when i see it's needed, Although you may not believe me seeing as i've only been a member for a few days now. I respect all cars especially the Imports and the such. If you can make them go as fast as the ones I've seen then by golly more power to you. I particularly like SAF Honda's like yours. Keeping it simple, is always a plus. I hope theres no hard feelings.

When did i make any reference to half the things that you included in that post? God only knows--or maybe those car gods you refer to do And yes redneck, things are cool and I dont have a stick shift up my ass. Maybe I was just a little hard on you because I am sick of domestic guys coming in here and being pricks. I just let some of my anger out on you and I'm sorry.

i don't know 425 hp for 3000 lbs is a damn good pwr to weight ratio if you ask me (sure no honda CBR but you get the idea). my car is 227 hp for 3k pounds and pulls even fourteens.. of course it has awd.. but if the nova is geared right and doesn't spin too much coming off the line that should put down some at least decent times.
oh yeah.. i don't think deleting your post will do any good since its already been quoted several times
