Re: What mods do you have planned this year?

Get it running right (been too lazy, broke, and irritated to work on it much lately)

Provided the finances are where I think they will be, I'm aiming for 13T turbos, DSM sidemounts, supporting mods, and hopefully 5Zigen lightweight wheels. But as always, bills and debt come first.

Re: What mods do you have planned this year?

IT's sweet to see what you guys are doing. Also, Luos, all I can say is holy shit!

So what do you guys think of the before and after pics? Keep in mind the after is a photochop, but it should give a good idea of what it will look like after being lowered and having the dent fixed.

Re: What mods do you have planned this year?

As much as i've complained about my WS6, i'm keeping it. Not really gonna mod it for awhile (I'm nowhere near as insane as Luos).

Maybe next year I will buy Long Tube Headers. Other then that I need polyurethane bushings and shocks/struts.

Gonna be doing cosmetic mods primarly (Torq Thrusts) to copy Luos, of course.

Re: What mods do you have planned this year?

Well I WAS planning to have an AEM EMS installed and tuned on my 3G so it would finally run right but its been at the shop for eleven weeks now and its still not done. Needless to say I'm extremely dissapointed with the shop. IF, and that's a big IF, they manage to get the damn thing to work I'm probably gonna try and sell it and get an FD RX-7.

Re: What mods do you have planned this year?

For performance either a 5.0 or a 1.8 Turbo swap with all supporting mods(can't decide on which way to go with the car), full exhaust, intake, short throw shifter and clutch, sway bars, and bigger breaks.
Appearance will be tint for now, from there if money permits, new bucket seats, new steering wheel, carbon fiber hood and trunk lid, lambo doors, RX-8 tailight conversion, exposed headlight conversion like some of the FD's have, and paint, body and calipers, im thinking the 350Z blue or something a little darker. And if any of this does get done, a good alarm system.

OH, and I can't forget the nitrous oxide, with the "Nitrous Express" sticker on the roll bar.

Re: What mods do you have planned this year?

For my 01 4Runner, just some functionals (brush guard, tow package, real skid plate) so that I can go fishing/hunting. I am also keeping my eyes out for a 87-92 Supra for a 1JZ swap or a 90-91 RX7 for a V8 swap (LT1, I think) which will end up being my toy. Don't need to get it this year, though, as I am wanting this to ultimately be a cheap project (yeah right) so I have to shop thrifty.

Re: What mods do you have planned this year?

I was thinking headers and exahust+ecu flash or something, but then I was thinking that would be somewhere in the 2k+ range, so I was thinking Headers+cut out+ecu reflash. That should keep me under 2k...

Re: What mods do you have planned this year?

I think I may sand off the primer to save a few bucks before getting the car painted. It'll never look perfect but if my roof starts chipping from the new paint job I will do a CF skin across the top, CF hood, and CF skin on the rear deck (which is only like 5 inches and would fix up the shitty caulk job over the missing molding). But it's baby steps for now and and putting on more and more miles...
