hey mate, Looks like you have a few people seaching for ideas for you on this one.. nice work!
I think i know what you mean about the second kit option with the grille. I think you should try and keep the bullet as much as possible. It looks sweet and really makes the '49. I saw a pic of a '49 with a painted bumper (same style as your last pick) but it still had the bullet and horizontal bar in the front with minimal chrome. is this close?  this was the best picture i could find of the front.. good luck anyway, and remember its a '49 Kustom... it can be what ever you want, there are no rules or right or wrongs in the world of kustom kulture! miller
