Re: The return of the SVS

Nice Alero Bob!
Ya DHP is the only one out there, and hell for $99 , I just might buy a couple and put back for those rainy days

Pretty straight forward on the directions from what I remember, just hav to watch out for static!
I'm a static magnet, go around zapping everyone and everything , I use ground straps quiet often.

My SE has the Port and polish intakes w/62mm TB, I could really tell a diff with just those and a CAI.
But after headers and bigger exhaust and a new tune, shit I was freakin amazzed!
"ALMOST" like a small block V8

Hey Bob One thing I was thinking about, when I had the PCM out on my GT thier is a sticker on the side it said "REmanufatured", you see any like that?
I was just wondering because its the first I hav seen with that sticker on thier. My SE and all the other GMs I've worked on over the years, none had a used PCM.

And its not listed on the warrnty repair history, just a BCM last NOV...Oh well It works, so I'd better shut my trap

It sounds like it was replaced at one time. The only labels we had were the GM ones with the bar codes. Two of them. One had the SERV NO. data and the other had HDW NO. data.

Of course, now it has the DHP label. The DHP PCM ws installed yesterday and his GT runs like a champ. I'm jealous now. I need to get one for the Alero.

Re: The return of the SVS

I guess the sticker was on the metal case. If it was replaced , its not on the Warrnty Repair History.
But its doing fine now

Did replace the water pump and belt last week.
It just has not been regularly maintenanced so I'm sure it'll nickle and dime me to death

Ya I better get me at least one of those DHPs before the sale or good deals over with.
