my advice if you are modding for power, is to start with the exhaust. cat back, catless up and down pipes.

like stated above, no need for an FMIC on stock boost settings. even with the stock turbo maxed out on boost, a larger top mount would be fine (sti top mount, turboxs, perrin).

an atmospheric BOV on the subaru is a bad idea until you invest in an aftermarket piggy back or standalone unit. it will cause your car to run EXTREMLY rich when you let off the throttle in boost, which can lead to bent valves, blown turbine (from exhaust gasses burning off inside the cats), and pre-mature engine knock.

Well here is what I have..
Installed is my TMIC Intercooler Upgrade & my K&N Short Ram Intake. I scrapped the BOV because I read about the whole running rich thing. I still have the bov and I was wondering when I get the car tuned can I use it? Or should I just buy a re-circ bov?
I have managed to pick up HKS Up&Down pipes 3" Cat-back exhaust which I am planning to install this stuff the week before I get it tuned (because of distance & time issues)
As fas as the tmic being useless, what about heat (the stock one got hotter than hell, the upgraded one gets warm) and pressure drop. I am planning on running 16lbs of boost on the stock turbo, and I understand what you guys are saying about it not making a difference, but my questions are above. Still learning a lot, thanks ahead.

Maxxus, get new pipes from the engine back and a tune. Go to a workshop that does subarus, tell them that and they'll sort you out.

IF they try to sell you a BOV....move on to the next workshop.

Well I got a 3" Catback exhaust and HKS up&down pipes. I am getting the exhaust installed tommorrow along with my tein springs. Next month I am going to have my up&down pipe installed and get my car tuned & dynoed by xs-engineering. I talked to one of the guys and he said I could up my boost to 16 along with the tune they do for $1100, sounded good to me software i believe is ecutek.

pretty standard with ecutek tunes to up to boost to about 16.

And 1100 bucks! ahahha, It's like the aus equivalent of $750USD for an ecutek down here. tis expensive.

As with the installation of the exhaust, you do realise it will be useless without the tune. Just get the tune and exhaust done together...or at least closer together.
