HOLY SHIT gsx_hooptie! Man, that blows any pulled over story in the world right the fuck out of the water.

Well, heres my sorry ass story . I've been pulled over 3 times. The first for 50 in a 35 (verbal warning), three months later 60 in a 45 (verbal warning, good thing I smashed the brakes when I saw his lights coming, I was going faster than that), then 6 months later I got it for going 50 in a 35 down town with no proof of insurance. That one was a written warning, but a bullshit one. I was damn near parked in the turn lane when that bastard came around the corner and I wasnt speeding that day anyway. Who ever said bullshitting isnt a good thing to do is crazy, how do you think I got out of three 15 over tickets? You kiss ass and pretend you didnt know what you were doing. Being polite helps too. Its been almost two years since I've been pulled over though.

1. Out headlight in an old beater. Got a warning and 10 days to fix.

2. I was on my way home from work at 9pm. First off I am tired as shit and all I want to do is smoke my cigarette and go home. This car comes flying around a turn behind me and comes right up on my ass. They where so close I couldn't even see their headlights. I look at it and decide it isn't a cop so I drop it down to second while doing 25 and take the hell off. I hit a good 65-70 before giving up and not seeing the car in my rearview mirrior anymore. So I slow down doing 40 riding 4th gear down a hill. Once again the car gets on me and as I get in towards town I see the lights on top and and my heart sinks. Right about then the lights come on and I pull over. This lady cop was being a bitch... she knew she had no clue how fast I was going when I took off but, knew I was flying. So she asks for the normal stuff and I give it to her. I ask her if I should put my cigarette out and she says you should but, if you put it out on the road you get a litering fine for 350. So I decide that isn't a good idea and ask if I can just ash on the road. She replies with "SIR ANYTHING THAT IS IN YOUR CAR THAT YOU PUT OUT OF IT IS LITTERING! SO NO!" I say sorry ma'am and conintue smoking and not ashing(lol). I get away with doing 40 in a 30(she paced me while going down the hill and riding 4th) She gave me a ticket for not following traffic control devices. something like 100+50 so 150 total.

lol yeah thats a bit to catch up hard to catch up to you if you do 130 and had a while you could run out of site. My friend did an awesome thing to his plate. He can retract it with a switch so cool.

I got off being nice and playing dumb not as bad of a fine as I should have had.

i think it's velcrow. My friends is on rails. It retracts up into his bumper when he hits a switch and he has a digicam mounted in under it so he can watch his back the front dash.

haha damn thats awesome. I have seen a plastic covering that you can put over top of your license plate. The plate is filled with gases and when the gases are charged with electric they turn black so you cant see the license plate. So you put the two layer plastic over top the plate then run wires up front and simply flick a switch when it is needed.

thats awesome. I saw this stuff which is suppose to reflect camera's from taking a picture of your plate. But never that. If you run across a link let me know. I did a quick search but couldn't find anything. I was thinking of putting mine on rails and having it pull it into the trunk area but the lights are there... So i'm not sure what to do.

Deffinatly be carefull about that. I am not positive but, I would bet that you could get in a good bit of trouble if you hid your license plate then got caught anyway. But hey, getting caught by the police ussually means you are always getting in a good bit of trouble no matter what.

No "w" in velcro . If I am remembering right, it was made by a french scientist. I dont remember what he was originally making, but he had the strip of little hooks and accidentally got it stuck to some velvet. After further developement, came out with somethign similair to what we have today. The name comes from the two things that went into it, velvet and little things that looked like crochet hooks.

I think auto loc makes hide away license plates, I'll look for a link in a little while.

i just want to hide it when im racing at night. There is a strip by my house that people race around 1-2 am in the morning and I usually head over there. Rarely is their a cop but yanno just in case they would catch on sometime. It was funny I didn't go out last weekend and when I drove by on that road to work there was a 1g talon tsi awd sitting on the side of the road with a towel out the window i think he broke down the night before lol

Damn I wish there was a strip close to my house. I have to drive about 15-20 minutes away to find a nice place + people to race with. Because of that reason and of course the danger I do not do it often.

How To Get Out of A Speeding Ticket

Officer: License and registration please.
You: I am sorry sir, I have neither. My license was taken away a week ago. And I do not have the registration because I stole this car.
Officer: You stole this car!?
You: Yes, I killed the lady who was driving it and stuffed her in the trunk.
Officer: There is a dead lady in your trunk?
You: Yes officer I shot her with the gun I stashed in the glove box.
**Now the officer calls for back up...back up arrives and the guy in charge approaches you.

Officer2: My partner here says you don't have a license, shot a lady, stole her car, stuffed her in the trunk, and there is a gun in the glove box.
You: OMG are you serious!? WHOA, what is wrong with that officer!? Is he on drugs!? I am sorry for the misunderstanding. Here is my license and registration sir.

it's about 8 city blocks long. No stop lights. Speed limit is 40 on it normally. you go from the light at one end to the part at the other end. It narrows right before the end into 1 lane on each side (from 2 on each side) to go under a bridge. You can tear down the road and most poeple do at night. Dumb cops usually sit on the other side of the bridge and never catch anyone. There isn't really anywhere for a cop to sit unless they are undercover and race you.

Most people turn around without going through bridge. Occasionally I cut under the bridge and 3 more blocks down that road there is a bridge about 4 blocks long that people tear across when heading into center city. Thats a cool race. I took a civic on that bridge with my old eclipse once. He pulled up with some loud ass muffler and by the time I hit second he was about a car or two behind. I know the gs spyder wasn't that fast so I think he drove crappy. I let up at end of bridge and he flew by me muffler roaring.
