who knows, but either would expect to get about 50k to 60k on the atleast, maybe more. but most likely in my hands i will slice one or so before i get to that point anyhow. tire protection from NTB is a good thing.

Just curious as to why Shlud isn't sticking with the Scorpions but only in a larger size? It seems these tires are geared more towards on-road first than off-road...but at least could provide the capability. Or are there some first hand accounts why you wouldn't want these in a 31" or 32" size?

TIA,

Lug

I still think the Scorpions are a very good tire. But my offroading has moved to more frequency and harder terrain than when I was in Canada. My Swamper SSR's are great for offroading, but just don't make much sense for me on long trips (Moab) and when things are dry around here.

The BFG A/T's are a harder tire and I don't do a ton of commuting, so ride quality isn't as important.

Anyway, I'm getting the lift and need larger tires regardless, so I thought I would run the BFG's.

Yeah, but the Scorpions kicked ass at Moab and they are a lot less expensive than the BFG's. Besides, when it starts raining again here (and it will!), I think the Scorpions are a better bet. Especially for folks with no ABS.

Yeah, but think of how much fun I'm going to be having here while I learn a new accounting system and transfer files from the old system to the new system! You should all be jealous!

Atleast I'll be making money instead of spending it on gas to feed the pig.

That sounds like a blast! I'm going to have almost as much fun prepare about 6 cases my firm has set for trial this month and next month. Have you guys planned another Moab trip? I'd really like to make that trip.

SHIT. It looks like BFG won't be making the KM in a 33 x 10.5 ... we shall see I guess.
