i never thought of it as a gene thing... i just thought it was based on well what thrasher said environmental conditioning. if you are in a hostle environ, either you too will become hostle, or you find someway to difuse it (get a really really big friend who will crush all that oppose your pasty white ass).

i suppose i can kind of atribute somethings to genes... like you hear of irish anger, and british enginuity. < so i suppose that could play a small role.

I think first off, your faith in God will make or break your personality. I've known very few people who have no faith that are enjoyable to be around, and many people who have faith that have had a very harsh existence, and are a blast to chill with, and you can always count on them. Next I think is your environment. A shitty upbringing can hurt a kid who comes from the most thoroughbred genes available. Then, I'd say genetics. My Dad was adopted by my G-Dad, and he turned out way better than he would've if he had been raised by his bio-logical pops. We found out later he was a drunkard, he beat my grandmother and then abandoned her with two kids. Through faith, good upbringing, and the half of his genes that came from my Nana maded him the man that he is today.

i dont want to start nothin bad with this. but i think there should be a cap on faith though. i mean i have faith, but you get people who only talk about god and thier religion and how other religions are wrong (<that last part pisses people off). its like being around a car guy... who is inparticularly a chevy fan AND ONLY CHEVY,and talks about cars all the time nothin else. what im trying to get at is it needs to be in moderation, and to a point where you cross no lines.... its hard to dictate, when i talk about it... i have had people flat out tell me that (im roman catholic) my section of catholisism is wrong. and yes it angers me, but when they try to turn me, then we come to words. mostly because i dont like being told what to do.

ok anyways, if your personality determines what you're going to do, and you don't choose your personality, your genes play a part 2. that means you don't ultimately choose what you do.
