Well thanks for trying TurboGSR96. I might have to call a mechanic if I can't figure it out soon. I'm still waiting for my brother in law to get better so that he can come over to my place and help me troubleshoot. If he can't figure it out, to the shop it goes. Just kinda disappointed that I wasn't able to go from beginning to start without paying for labor. Oh well, maybe it'll go better next time.
BTW, did you just recently crash your Type-R? I just noticed you changed the pic on your avatar. Oh, and if anyone else has any suggestions, feel free to give them to me. Thanks!

Nah, it was a while ago....I just had the pics put on a disc so I could load them on my computer
Crash was an 100 mph encounter with bambi......fuckin deer lived too.

its almost certainly just a ground wire you forgot to remount while you were putting the trans back in. Just look aorund the engine compartment, they frequently bolt right on with the trans mount bolts

Thanks for the tip. I'll quadruple check everything tonight and make sure that the ground has good connection with metal.

check ingnitor control module and the ingnition coil, mine sounded like would start but those two things kept it from starting
