Re: Intake mounting
I understand what you are saying now, I will have it done by tomorrow and I will let you know how it turns out and maybe take some pics of it so that anyone else who has this problem will have an idea as to what can be done. I was quoted $60 on tint from a local detailing shop so I might do the 30% tint with that. By the way, thats an awesome pic you drew, hey man can't thank you enough for the help!

Re: Intake mounting
Well I figured it all out. The answer to the mounting problems is here. I was thinking for another way to be creative since I couldn't find my allens so I started searching through all my tool storage boxes and found the ultimate mount idea and it all worked out perfectly. I have pics here and will explain what I did.
![]() ^I found this Stanley brand utility storage hook ![]() ^I searched and found this hole around the middle of the picture on the front as a place to mount the hook. ![]() I screwed the hook into the hole and hooked it around the intake.(If anyone plans to do this you will have to use some force to get the hook around the intake). Thats all I did. It fits perfectly and holds the intake perfectly, no rattling or shaking. The intake no longer touches anything and is level instead of hanging down. Hope this helps, I'm sure you can get the hook at Home Depot or someone similar. Heres two more pics of the mount: ![]()
