well that sux, i've got a lawyer friend i plan on using for my first ticket, i've had at least 4 friends get out of tickets using him and as soon as my rates go up iono if i can afford my car!

That is like cheating on an ethics test. But good for you for doing it. Sounds like that kid needing a serving of reality.

As far as the ticket. Fight it, plead not guilty, chances are they will offer you a plea bargain. And even if the ticket is only $70, the points on your insurance will cost you alot more in the long run. I'd fight it and be happy paying the $70 if it kept points off my insurance. plead not guilty........they will give you a trial.......put it off a couple of times.........and most likely the cop wont show up and the case gets thrown out the window........they have much more things to do than to show up for a traffic ticket........jezz they give out a million of them.....
