Re: Getting to know our new Community. Part III

Hi, my name is nick rigsby… I live in grove city, ohio aka as grove ‘tucky… I am 17 years old and turning 18 on Feb 4th… I am in high school going to a technical high school for automotive technology I recently got a 1989 firebird… I traded it for my v6 79’ Malibu… it has a gm 350 crate in it and I am doing a tranny swap so I can get it up and runnin… here’s the deal it had a 5 liter in it with I think a 700R tranny… the guy took all the fuel injection out and computer controlled stuff out and put a 350 small block with a 350 turbo in it… it needed a conversion kit for a bar that goes from the tranny to the rear end, well I bought it and tried to install it and it wouldn’t fit… I called the guy up and he said it was a long shaft tranny and I probably need a short shaft so I am getting my dads short shaft 350 tranny and doing a tranny swap the weekend after the super bowl… and I will have pictures soon

Re: Getting to know our new Community. Part III

Well I guess I can introduce myself over here. My name is Jeremy I am 18 just graduated highschool in June 2005. I use to own a 94 Camaro V6 and as of 2 weekends ago traded that in for my 94 Trans Am. I don't have a lot of plans for this car, the final hp rating that I want to have is 450hp in the motor so that its still streetable.

Re: Getting to know our new Community. Part III

i've made a few posts here already, but i guess i never really introduced myself, my real name is justin, my internet name is Fuzzy_Cabins (got it off a free aol card that came with my computer...) i'm from alberta, canada, i work in a shop doing a bunch of different stuff, welding, auto mechanics, heavy duty mechanics, etc. i race every time i get the chance, and make a point of destroying every import i see.

i drive a 1980 trans am that also has some interesting nick names, my friend dubbed it the mustang killer, and my ex-girlfriend called it the import eater. it's got 70,000 miles on it, and has a new 301 in it with only 12,000 miles, and i'm building a 455 for it. i've spent around $3000 on suspension, steering, tires and other running gear, just getting the car ready for a 455, and then comes the body work...

i put everything i got into my car, if somebody offered me a brand new ferrari tomorrow for my car, i'd tell'em to screw off

Re: Getting to know our new Community. Part III

Hi Everybody,
My name is Pete, I've been on this board before, but I've been away for a bit. Anyhow, currently live in the DC area, but I am from outside of Philly. I have an 89 GTA that is currently awaiting an engine rebuild. It's been sitting for a while, beacuse college makes you broke, but I almost have all the money together and I am hoping this bird will rise again.
