yeah, a shift knob can change the total feel of the car if it's shorter and has less play on the switch and shaft itself.
Im gonna try the levoc one for mine soon... probably get something by the end of the month, OR modify the stock one so that if feels much better.

well the knob isnt really any shorter....you'll notice once youve taken the stock knob off that there is a round plastic peg which is the shift button itself, this is about an inch high and ends at a point.....im not sure if you are supposed to remove this peg I tried but it didnt budge so i left it as is and just placed the new knob over it...therefore its basically the same. Im assuming a levoc knob will act the same as stock which is not a bad thing i guess........i still occasionally have the problem of the shifter being slightly off park when i start....thats life with an aftermarket product i guess!

on another note I finally got a wings west m3 spoiler painted and installed.....i'll definitely post some pics of the interior and exterior......I'll be seeing some of yall at the SoCal meeting!
