She doesnt have to have the stuff.. you goto the store, buy it, then bring it with you in a bag.

make sure you make something she likes. if she's a vegetarian or partial vegetarian, steak or lamb would probably be a bad idea. you could see if there's a certain food ethnicity she really likes too. good luck with it!
