great job
looks like you're still using the s27 pe kit, headlight isn't well visible: had you use s27 awesome grids also here?
and.. decals work is really good: are this decal sheet the s27 superb one? original hasegawa decals are quetly hard to work with

Here's a scan of the decal instructions showing the bonnet plate is in the right position. The reason it is slightly proud is because the decal is on top of the S27 metal part. This is embossed photo etch and you put the decal on top of it,much like on the real car, which has the plate pop riveted to the bonnet.
The mudflaps I think can be up or down, but the material in the Hasegawa kit is very stiff and would not roll up very well. Therefore I elected to have them in the down position.

Humm... I never noticed they put their rally plate like that, although it seems now so clear by looking at building instructions...

About the mudguards, talking about me, I did not wanted to talk about up or low position... It's clear they may have both at least one time during such a rally !
But I noticed they are a little bit to high on the spoiler and top of them does'nt fit the spoiler...
That is on my opinion a bigger accuracy problem than up or down...
But I already said that it isn't so simple to place them correctly, cos' material in which cut them doesn't make things easy, moreover with the form of the spoiler in the corners where they should fit... I spent more than 2 hours cutting them, trying to fit them before gluing, re-cutting them, re-fittin,g them etc etc and finally gluing them !
And I am still not very sure I couldn't do better !

Then forger my words if they put some trouble in your mind, you did a very nice and impressive work, especially on the decals !!
Congratulations.

Phil

RallyMaster,
Don't worry your comments about the mudflaps were fine. They are a pain to fit and the material really doesn't help at all.I was never really 100% happy with the fit and may have another go at fitting them one day.
I'm certainly not upset by your comments I think that's why people put their models on this forum to get opinions from other modellers.Above all it helps to keep people informed and we can all build better models because of it,and that's, I think what it's all about.
Regards,
Steve.
