my 300zx was turbo'd at the downpipe, and it had a SOHC v6 engine... as for the TT stuff; there's a reason why everyone does that instead of a single turbo, and from the looks of it, you pretty much know why... I say why do it if it's gonna' be alot more money and a bigger headache, even if you get the feeling of it being original; right now I'm giving my "original project" second thoughts because of certain factors (only Musashi knows what I'm up to ).

single turbo off of one manifold on a v-engine??? what a brilliant idea, I'm glad you did your research first. Most people don't do that. But you're smart, I'm sure you've thought about the consequences of the backpressure on just ONE SIDE of your V-engine. Then the catastrophe that would ensue once the balance on your crankshaft is lost afterwards. no..... you are too smart to not think of that


on a more serious note, if your going to single turbo your car, for the love of moses, use both exhaust manifolds so you dont destroy your crankshaft.
